The dance of the lotus
THE DANCE OF THE LOTUS
In the summer, the lotus flower bursts into a triumph of life. Its broad leaves stretch across the water, and its colourful blooms ignite the lake with light and colour. However, when autumn arrives, that same dance transforms into a silent ritual of death and rebirth. Petals fall, stems bend, and leaves dissolve. In this slow surrender, nothing truly dies. Everything changes shape, preparing to return. It is the eternal cycle of nature, where every end is merely the beginning of another metamorphosis. This is the dance of the lotus: a visual journey through splendour and fading, through presence and memory.
